on Pumps with 2 1/2" Threaded Union which measure about 3 5/16" edge to edge on the threadD.. It would be a Viper,  XP3 or an Executive with a 2 1/2" Suction.. These size pumps can be found on Coast, Catalina, Swim Spas and a few others but just know they are rare.. The 2" version is the most common and we offer this in our store here too..
This part is a
2 1/2" Pump Union Split Nut Repair Kit
which includes the split nut and (2) Screws for use with a 2 1/2" Pump Union.
The Pump Union Split Nut that measures about 3 3/4" on the outside and mounts to the existing Pump Union Body using 2 screws to hold it in place. This Split Nut measures about 3 5/16" ID and mounts on the old Pump Union holding flange and screws onto the pump threads with a gasket between the union and pump. If your pump union plumbing is 2" or 2 1/2" and your pump Threads are 2 1/2" (Meaning the Threaded Part measures about 3 5/8" Across edge to edge) this part is correct. This version is the most popular version. This part is used in hot tubs to do an emergency pump union repair instead of replacing the pump union and all other glued in parts. To install this repair kit you will have to remove the old broken pump union flange nut. This nut can be cut off with a hack saw blade or some cutting pliers if the nut is split enough. Be careful not to cut the pump union glued body when cutting the nut off because you will reuse the body.
Special Note: This Nut will not work on J-Pump Wet Ends or Hayward Wet Ends..
