    Bogen Manfrotto 3038 Super Ball very solid heavy duty ball head.
    Approximately 4.5lbs 6.5 inches tall
    Heavy duty is a true understatement for this head. The 3038 Super Ball Head was Manfrotto's top of the line ball head back in the day. There are separate controls for ball friction, pan and ball locking with a load capacity of 26.4 lbs. It uses the RC0 (hex type) quick release system with two bubble levels and includes 1 camera plate hexagon
    NOTE: This head was designed for use with large heavy cameras and does not work smoothly with light weight equipment. Even with the ball fully unlocked, it does not "flop around" like most heads and this "stiffness" is not a defect. that's the way they were right out of the box.
