    Description
    The Pristine Blue MetalShield is used to prevent and remove tough metal staining and scaling in swimming pools. MetalShield is very effective on all types of metals which including copper, iron, magnesium, and calcium. MetalShield is compatible with all types of different pool systems, including chlorine, bromine, and salt. This stain and scale remover is also compatible with all different types of pool surfaces.

    Metal Stain Prevention:
    MetalShield should be used weekly, as needed to prevent metal staining. Add 3 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water once per week. No premixing is necessary. Pour directly into your pool, while circulating and make sure you are away from your skimmer.
    How To Use:
    Balance the water:
    Adjust the water balance to standard ranges: pH 7.2 - 7.8, alkalinity 80-120 and Calcium 100-400
    Add Metal Shield:
    Add one quart (32ounces) of MeatalShield for every 10,000 gallons of water. No premixing is necessary. Pour directly into pool, while circulating, and away from skimmer.
    Circulate for 48 hours: Run your circulation system for 48 hours while stains are lifting. Tougher stains may require a second application. Check with Macke Pool Products before you do this!
    After stains lift simply balance the water and resume normal circulation and maintenance.
