The minerals completely dissolve within 24 hours, forming a stable residual. PoolRx for Spas works synergistically with a constant low level of chlorine -- just 0.5-1.0 ppm for residential spas. As the minerals circulate back over the PoolRx pod, they are re-energized and remain active for up to 6 months, or until you drain the spa.
