    Description

    This precision four jaw 1" x 8 TPI chuck is smaller and lighter than most chucks to minimizes the load on smaller lathe spindles and bearings. It is suitable for lathes up to a 12" swing. This chuck has a quick adjustment ring that gives you the ability to quickly open and close the jaws with just your fingertips. Jaws can be secured tight using the included two lever bars. Jaws have small teeth to bite into and grip wood firmly. Included jaws have inside measurements that range from 1-1/2" to 3-1/4"; outside jaws range from 2" to 3-5/8". Jaws have stop limits so will not extend past lathe body. Kit comes with wormwood screw for fast mounting of rough bowl blanks. Weight is 3.8 pounds with outside diameter at 4".
